When and Where is the Event? 2PM Valley Center. Direction will be sent with your RSVP.
Is it free? We are running the event from the perspective of nature and the concept of the gift economy. Nature provides food for free in ridiculous abundance. We honor that by providing for you a meal and sharing our gifts of knowledge and skill. At the end of the evening we’ll provide a jar or a venmo account to share what you choose. If you have very little, receive the meal as a gift! If you are overflowing with abundance then feel the joy of sharing that abundance with the farm and people who serve you.
Can I bring my kids? Yes! We will share with you any dangers on the farm in terms of wild critters or water sources etc. You will be responsible for looking after them.
What if I have food allergies? Please let us know if you have food restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate you.
What should I wear? Please check the weather for Valley Center Ca and dress appropriately. The dinner is out doors but is covered. We will be walking the farm so please wear closed toe shoes and long pants.
What will be served? Chef McCord specializes in vegetarian and vegan food. He will share the theme of the meal the evening of the event.
We will be on a working farm. Do I need to sign a weaver? Yes, we’ll provide a waiver for the event.
